Self-calibration of Power Amplifiers using Systems Engineering

This research is an effort to bridge systems and electronics engineering to fill the complex communication system design gaps. Utilizing a novel self-calibration adjustment of the Phase Controller-Power Amplifier (PC-PA) cells in Reconfigurable Transmitarray Antenna (RTA) performance, as a Systems Engineering use case, its impact on the overall performance will be measured. The RTA self-calibration feature pursued here demands minimal physical space, least computational power consumption compared to other Digital Signal Processing (DSP) -based methods. The competitive performance trade-offs of this approach make it a superior option for many applications such as advanced civil communication systems.
