The development of the technology for detecting degradation of polyolefines for recycling

 

 

The development of the technology for detecting degradation of polyolefines for recycling (polypropylene and high-density polyethylene) fibers with cyber-physical system modeling toolchain. This is a cross – disciplinary research: from the one side analytic organic chemistry and from the other is engineering systems. The methodology is based on discrete spectrum analyzation of polyolefines. The technology, for assessing the quality of polymers by the level of their degradation in real time, is validated with hardware and software complex. Test bench architecture presented on the picture above. Spectrum analysis carried out with a miniature spectrometer in NIR area under laser irradiation.
