This Wednesday CDE Seminars session will be hosted by Intelligent Space Robotics Laboratory and Optimal Enterprise Group!
This is the main research seminar of the Skoltech Center for Digital Engineering. Each year we kick it off with a series of highlight lectures by our professors to introduce students to the wide range of competencies offered by our Center and to encourage them towards multidisciplinarity in their future academic and scientific endeavors. The range of topics is broad and includes many aspects of Digital Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Development, Robotics and Automation and Space Research and Systems.
About the speakers:
Dzmitry Tsetserukou, Associate Professor, Head of the Intelligent Space Robotics Lab
Prof. Tsetserukou joined Skoltech with a PhD degree in Information Science and Technology from the University of Tokyo; established Intelligent Space Robotics and VR/AR Laboratory in Skoltech in 2014. Dzmitry’s research interests include autonomous robots, swarm of drones, human-robot interaction, wearable haptic and tactile displays, telexistence, affective haptics, virtual and augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. In 2023 he was awarded by Elsevier the rank of top 2% of the world’s most cited researchers.
Mikhail Belov, Professor of the Practice, Head of the Optimal Enterprise Group
Prof. Belov graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, and then got a PhD at the TsNII "Kometa". He has also obtained a MBA Finance degree from the joint program of London Metropolitan University and Moscow Business School "MIRBIS" in 2001, and in 2019 defended his dissertation at IPU RAS. Mikhail has experience in financial management, operations, and development of management systems for commercial companies and banks; experience in management and implementation of projects in the field of design organization and life cycle management of complex technical objects and products.
